Silverbacks Improv Theatre will hold Open Auditions for new members on Tuesday, August 28th in Downtown Lafayette.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE this morning with details on the audition and more from the improv group.
Auditions will take place on Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Omni Center located at 227 Jefferson St. in Downtown Lafayette. Those auditioning should be prepared to stay for the duration of the audition.
This is the second ever audition held by the group since it’s creation in April 2012.
The Silverbacks say they are seeking experienced and/or trained improvisers to join the group. Those inexperienced in the arts are welcomed to attend the audition.
The group rehearses twice a month on Wednesdays and holds shows twice a month.
Those attending the audition must be 18 years and older. Headshots and resumes will be accepted, but are not necessary for the audition. The audition will consist of improvisational games and exercises.
