If you like cars, trucks, bikes, and rat rods, then you’ll want to head over to St. Martinville this weekend for the Second annual St. Martinville Kiwanis Car, Truck and Bike Show.

KATC’s Katie Lopez was LIVE in St. Martinville as patrons get ready for the big day.

The event will be held on Saturday, August 25 at Magnolia Park in St. Martinville. The show will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Classic cars and modern vehicles will be on display at the event and those who attend will have the opportunity to enjoy food and arts and crafts from several local vendors.

The car show is Open Class and entry into the show is $30. The car show will include free spectator parking for those wanting to attend. Festival queens will also be out during the show selling 50-50 raffle tickets.

All proceeds from the event go towards the St. Martinville Kiwanis Club’s local kids project. Each year the club organizes events like their Foster Kids Christmas Party, Every Child’s a Swimmer and yearly reading program where they give back to their community and the children of St. Martin Parish.

The car show is held in conjunction with the Annual Pepper Festival which will take place in St. Martinville in September.
