Copeland’s opens first Batch 13 restaurant in Lafayette

A brand new restaurant opened its doors in Lafayette on Sunday, welcoming guests to the Albertson’s Shopping Center on Johnston Street.

The restaurant, Batch 13, is a part of the Copeland’s family of restaurants and offers a variety of biscuits, along with a signature item known as a “bonut,” described as a cross between a biscuit, a donut, and a beignet.

KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE this morning with a look at the new restaurant.

The Lafayette location of Batch 13 is the second after the restaurant’s Baton Rouge location. Offering a range of flavors like Asian, Sowthwestern, and Greek, Batch 13 has a collection of meals including bonuts, breakfast bowls, smothered biscuits, biscuit sandwiches, paninis and entrée bowls.

Batch 13 Biscuits, Bonuts and Bowls is located at 2668 Johnston Street and will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday – Sunday.
