The 68th annual Delcambre Shrimp Festival continues tonight

The 68th annual Delcambre Shrimp Festival continues tonight in the Town of Delcambre.

The festival officially kicked off on Wednesday, August 15 and will continue its five days of fun until Sunday, August 19.

KATC’s Dave Baker was LIVE in Delcambre with more details on the festival and all things shrimp.

On Friday, the concessions and street fair open at 6:30 pm. Ride bracelets are on sale for $25.

Live music will be provided by Ole Whiskey Revival, Dustin Sonnier, and Josh Ward.

Admission to the festival is $10.

The Festival will continue on Saturday morning with the All day Fais-do-do and the Shrimp Cook-off beginning at 9:00 am. The day’s events include Fireman water fights, fair rides and music provided by Krossfyre, Leroy Thomas, Jaryd Lane & The Parish with Allie Colleen, and Tracy Byrd.
