Today in Lafayette over 25 exhibitors will be attending South Louisiana Community College’s Industrial Trades Career Fair.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was LIVE this morning with more information on today’s event.
The career fair will take place from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at SLCC’s Lafayette Campus located on Bertrand Drive. Exhibitors will be set up in the Ardoin Building.
Companies will be looking to fill positions for welders, auto technicians, H-VAC repairmen, truck drivers, and other skilled tradesmen. SLCC says there will be about 550 jobs available during the fair.

The event is free to the public. Registration will take place at the event.
