Tonight, Cajun Field will be alive with the sounds of music. That music will be provided by some of the nations best marching band ensembles.
KATC’s Abby Breidenbach was at Cajun Field this morning for more details on tonight’s music competition.
The "Drums Across Cajun Field" competition will feature seven marching band ensembles from across the country competing for the top prize. The lineup tonight includes the Louisiana Stars which is a corps organized here in Lafayette. The competition is a part of Drum Corps International’s nationwide tour of events.

Tickets for tonight’s event are $30 and the music begins at 7:00 pm. All proceeds from the competition will directly benefit the UL Band program.
