South Louisiana Community College will hold short-term training for long-term careers with programs at their campuses during the month of July.
Today, July 9, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm a business developer will be at the St. Martinville campus to talk about short-term training for those students interested in learning trades like truck driving, HVAC repair, scaffold building, and online healthcare among others.
The programs allow a career focused path for those who are not interested in pursuing a college education and would like to quickly enter into their field.

Training information sessions will be held today in St. Martinville, on Wednesday at the Crowley campus from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and at the Abbeville campus on Thursday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
