KATC’s Dannielle Garcia is LIVE at the United Blood Services in Lafayette as they kick off their Dream Vacation Giveaway.
Starting today until June 9 United Blood Services is celebrating the kick-off to their Dream Vacation Giveaway. Those who make a blood donation to UBS this week will be entered to win a chance for the dream vacation of their choice. Donors will also receive a $25 Amazon gift card after giving blood.
The United Blood Service says the giveaway is a great way to get donors into the facility to give during the summer months which are typically a time when blood is needed.
Any donor has a chance to be entered into the giveaway. Those interested have until August 31.
One winner will be chosen and organizers say that UBS will pay for all transit and lodging up to $6,000. Winners have the option to take themselves and as many people as they want on the vacation of their choice. That includes anywhere around the world. Last year, according to UBS, the winner of the giveaway took their family on an Alaskan Cruise.
