Fountain Memorial Funeral Home will hold their annual Memorial Day Program on Monday, May 28th at Fountain Memorial Cemetery in Lafayette.
The event will be held at 9:00 am to honor fallen heroes and remind their families that they are not forgotten. The event will include guest speaker Charles McGowen II Chaplain of the Marine Corps League as well as other affiliated groups.
The event is also a reminder to those in Acadiana that Memorial Day is not just a holiday, but a remembrance of the sacrifices our military have made. The ceremony will be about 2 hours long and those who attend are invited to bring their own chairs. A reception will follow.
