KATC’s Kendria LaFleur was LIVE this morning at the Lafayette Science Museum as they get ready for their Summer of Science Program.

With students soon getting into the first weeks of summer vacation, the Lafayette Science Museum is offering fun and educational programs that will engage children to keep them sharp for the upcoming school year.

The Science Museum will host The Sky Tonight Planetarium show on May 29 and June 1 at the Planetarium from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The presentation will introduce visitors to an evening of constellations, bright stars, planets, and ambient space music.

For more information and ticket prices visit or the Lafayette Science Museum Facebook Page.

Kendria got a chance to experience augmented reality at the Lafayette Science Museum. A little different than virtual reality, augmented reality allows large groups to experience the world around them while safely standing in the museum. Check out the interview below.
