The City of Scott will hold their 27th annual National Day of Prayer event on Thursday, May 3 at the Scott Civic Center
The event will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and feature prayer and reflection along with music.
Organizers say that those who attend the event do not have to stay for its entirety. Guests are welcome to come and go as they please depending on their schedules. The city hopes the day will be one of comradeship and togetherness for all Scott residents.
Jambalaya will also be served.
