The United Blood Services of Acadiana will host a Blood Drive at the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival on Saturday, April 28.
The blood drive will be held from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Parc Hardy on the festival grounds in Breaux Bridge.
Those who donate during the festival will get a free ride wristband and a festival t-shirt after donating. The items will be given out on a first come, first serve basis for donors. There is no registration necessary for the Crawfish Festival blood drive.
UBS says that as we head into the summer months blood supplies due tend to decrease. They encourage donors to head out to the festival to donate, but it that is not possible, to head over to the UBS office located on 1503 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette.
