Festival International de Louisiane is only a few weeks away from kicking off in Downtown Lafayette. While the festival seems to run on its own, it should come as no surprise that each year dedicated volunteers help to lift the festival to new heights.
Organizers for Festival International joined us on GMA this morning to talk about those volunteers and the need to fill somewhere around 2,500 volunteer spots before the festival begins.
About half of the spots have been filled for this year’s event, but more volunteers are still needed. Those interested in supporting the festival can head to FestivalInternational.org
Festival International de Louisiane kicks off from April 25 to April 29.
The festival app debuted last week and can be downloaded at the app store and changes have been made to the RFID wristband system. Learn more about the new system here.
