The 6th annual CajunCodeFest will focus their efforts this year on developing code for the management, treatment, and prevention of the Opioid Epidemic plaguing America.

120 coders, including high school students, will be coding together to create and develop solutions that they believe will help solve the opioid crisis.

Top leaders in healthcare will be at the event to speak  on the crisis and to discuss the epidemic and provide possible solutions to its end. The data collected during the CajunCodeFest will be passed along to healthcare professionals who will use the information to create real-world treatments for the crisis.

The public is invited to attend. CajunCodeFest will be held Friday, April 13 and Saturday, April 14.
