This weekend, the 16th annual Cajun Food Fest will take place in Iberia Parish.
Hosted by the Lydia Cancer Association, Cajun Food Fest will kick off on Friday, September 13 at Weeks Park from 5:00 pm until 11:00 pm.
Entertainment continues on Saturday, September 14 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
A poker run, carnival, car and craft show are just a few of the offerings for this year's festival along with food and live music.
The food fest is the largest fundraiser of the year for the association. Proceeds will go towards the continued support of cancer patients in Iberia, St. Martin, St. Mary and Vermilion Parish.
That support includes helping with food, prescriptions and some medical expenses.
