During the month of November, deputies responded to eight separate burglaries involving the theft of catalytic converters.

The burglaries occurred at the Tri-Community Nursing Center, Church of God Campground, Agape Adult Day Healthcare, St. Landry Parish Community Action, DC Motors, and a private residence. The vehicles were all parked at night when unknown suspects used a saw to cut them from the exhaust.
