St. Landry Crime Stoppers needs your help in solving two home burglaries in the City of Eunice.

On January 10, 2019, officers responded to the 1400 block of West Vine for a home burglary. The suspect entered the home by breaking a window and stole a Taurus 9mm pistol, a holster, and a box of ammunition.

Then on February 5, 2019, officers once again responded to the 1400 block of W. Vine for another home burglary. The home was across the street from the previous burglary and owned by the victim’s 78-year-old father. When entering his home, the victim was met by two unknown males burglarizing his home. One of the males who was wearing a grey hoodie struck him in the head causing a severe laceration. Stolen in this burglary were a diamond ring and a .22 caliber rifle. The victim had to be transported to a hospital and received staples and stitches as a result of the vicious attack.
