Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish asking for help in solving a crime

Detectives with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office are investigating a residential burglary which occurred on September 26, 2018, in the 100 block of Cattail Road in Iota.

The suspect gained entry into the home by kicking in the front door, according to Sheriff KP Gibson. Several items were stolen including televisions, guns, a safe and miscellaneous jewelry. The TV’s are described as 55″ & 60″ Samsung Smart TV’s. Several firearms were stolen including a Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum.

A vehicle of interest was captured on video surveillance and is described as a newer model Jeep Patriot, possibly gray in color.
