Iberia Crime Stoppers needs the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted on burglary and battery charges.
Deputies say John Kennedy Francois Jr. is currently wanted by the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office as well as the Office of Probation and Parole. Francois is wanted for Aggravated Burglary and Aggravated 2nd Degree Battery for an incident that occurred in May of this year where he allegedly forced his way into a residence, striking the homeowner in the head several times with a handgun.
Deputies say he stole a cell phone a cash before fleeing in an unknown direction.
Francois is described as a black male standing approximately 6’4″ tall and weighing approximately 185 pounds. Francois should be considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.
