St. Landry Crime Stoppers: Help needed in solving burglary

The St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for help from the public in solving a residential burglary in the 700 block of Charlene Richard Road in Opelousas.

On June 13, police say two men were dropped off at the home in a white crew cab, possibly a Chevrolet, four-wheel drive with dark tinted windows and loud exhaust at 10:30 a.m.  Stolen in the burglary was more than a $1,000 in cash, a 1994 Northwest High School ruby graduation ring with the name Robin engraved on it, a ruby and diamond ring, a small black safe containing the victim’s grandfather’s wallet and legal documents and one Apple I-pad.

The total loss of value is listed at  $2,500 dollars.
