St. Landry Crime Stoppers is asking for help from the public identifying a theft suspect.
On May 7, 2018, officers responded to a theft complaint in the 100 block of South 5th Street in Eunice. The owner of the residence reported that someone stole his 2005 black CAO utility trailer and his green and yellow 60-inch John Deere 757 Zero Turn mower from his driveway. Deputies say a Chevy S-10 white long-wheel base was seen at approximately 1:26 p.m. pulling the trailer away.
The trailer recently had new floorboards installed and a fresh coat of black paint. Both items were valued at over $1,900 dollars.
