St. Landry Parish Crime Stoppers and needs help in solving a theft in the Cankton area.
On April 18, 2018, around 8:30 pm, the driver of a 1998 Peterbuilt tractor-trailer parked his truck on 1000 block of Savoie Road then left. Upon returning on the 22nd he noticed a chain on the ground.
Three super start batteries, one battery box cover, one snatch block, two 20′ slings, seven binders, and seven chains were also stolen all totaling more than $2000 dollars.
