Crime Stoppers of Acadia Parish needs your help to solve a cold case homicide.
On December 10, 2016, at 12:36 am, deputies with the Acadia Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting incident at Meadows Apartments located at 100 Kathy Meadows Dr. in Crowley. Deputies discovered that Michael Winn, 32 years of age, had been shot in the chest as he stood outside of his apartment. Winn was transported to a local hospital where he later died. Prior to the shooting, there were no arguments or confrontation, indicating that Wynn was targeted by his assailant.
The Acadiana Region has seen enough violence. We need the public’s help to bring those responsible to justice. If you have any information, you are urged to call our tips line at 789-TIPS / 789-8477. All callers can receive up to a $2,500 cash reward for information which leads to the arrest in this case.
