LAFAYETTE — The Acadiana Mall will be losing another store.
Jewelry retailer Charming Charlie will close all 261 of its stores after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy Thursday. It's the second time the company has filed for bankruptcy.
Charming Charlie will be the seventh national retailer to leave the Acadiana Mall in 2019. Banana Republic, Gap, Baby Gap, Payless Shoes, Charlotte Russe, and Things Remembered all shuttered their locations in the shopping center this year.
