Brooke Williams is an award-winning journalist who joined the KATC team in October 2023.

Brooke began her career in Williston, North Dakota as a multimedia journalist. She also worked in Roanoke, Virginia where she was a weekend anchor and investigative reporter. Brooke then returned to North Dakota to continue her reporting and anchoring career in Bismarck.

While in Bismarck, Brooke’s reporting was consistently featured nationally. She has made appearances on 20/20, Dan Abrams Live, and the Paramount+ docuseries, Never Seen Again. In addition to her national television appearances, Brooke’s coverage of the federal Indian boarding school experience earned her an Upper Midwest Emmy nomination.

Brooke graduated from Florida State University with a degree in criminology and enjoys reporting on criminal justice-related issues. Additionally, she earned her Master’s degree in journalism from the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism.

Brooke is excited to continue her career with KATC in the role of executive reporter. She enjoys mentoring KATC’s dedicated team of journalists. When she’s away from work, you can catch her watching a Florida State football game or enjoying one of Lafayette’s great restaurants.
