There’s a chance to start the New Year $425 million dollars richer with tonight’s Mega Millions drawing.
The Mega Millions jackpot is now at $425 million after the December 28 drawing named no winners. Those numbers were 9, 10, 25, 37, 38 and the Mega Ball was 21.
The drawing will take place tonight, January 1, 2019, and will be the fifth time the jackpot has been drawn on the first day of the year. The last time a jackpot was won on New Year’s Day was back in 2008.
Over 1 million tickets won cash prizes at all levels during the December 28 drawing. Tickets in California, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania match all five white balls to win $1 million. Another ticket sold in Washington won $2 million.
