BATON ROUGE, La. – The Louisiana Workforce Commission’s (LWC) Registered Apprenticeship division has launched a new website, Apprenticeshipla.com.
The website offers quick access to division operations, policies and regulations and offers direct contact information for the Registered Apprenticeship Staff and State Apprenticeship Council members. New features for users include the Eligible Training Providers List and a complete list of program sponsors.
“Ultimately, our goal is to streamline the process of obtaining information about apprenticeship in Louisiana, both for job seekers and employers,” said Joseph Hollins, State Director of Registered Apprenticeship. “Our presence on the LWC’s website signifies our affiliation with Louisiana labor department, and maintaining our own site will speed up the processes of sharing and seeking information. I believe that visitors will find the site both informative and easy to follow.”
