A woman is being treated at an Acadiana hospital after she was shot in Rayne Wednesday night.
A Facebook post by the Rayne Police Department states the woman was shot in the abdomen at a house on Chappuis Avenue at around 8 p.m. Wednesday. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police say.
The investigation is ongoing, the post states.
