The Lafayette Police Department has released more details on Wednesday night's shooting on Cooper Drive that injured one person.
Police say the incident occurred around 10:50 pm at the corner of Paul Breaux Avenue and Cooper Drive in Lafayette. There, officers located a 35-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was transported to a local hospital. Police say he is in stable condition.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
