There Kaylee won various awards for her work including, second place in the nation for “Best Overall Television News Magazine”, and first place in the nation for “Best Television News Feature Story”. In the Spring of 2020, her weekly anchoring and reporting resulted in the Southeastern Channel being named by the Society of Professional Journalists as one of the top three schools in the nation for College Coronavirus Coverage in broadcasting for their weekly segment called “Northshore News Update: Coronavirus on the Northshore”.

Kaylee is excited to call Acadiana home, meet all of the community members and share their stories with the rest of us. On her off days, you can often find Kaylee exploring the community, eating at local restaurants, shopping at the mall or hanging out with her dog at any dog park nearby. Kaylee is a very family and friend oriented girl and loves to meet new people. If you see her out, say hello!
