Rabid Dog Found at Willow Brook Apartments

Lafayette Animal Control picked up a rabid dog last Tuesday that was found wandering around Willow Brook Apartments at 1307 West Willow Street. It is believed the dog had been roaming the complex since May 13th. It has since been "put down." The small white terrier had black spots... more »

Road Closed: Evangeline Thruway

Beginning Wednesday, February 24, 2010, at 9:00 a.m., the center and outside lanes of US 167 SB (Evangeline Thruway SB), will be closed from Willow Street to the railroad located just South of Donlon Street for railroad repairs.
