Election day will be a day off for some Acadiana students.
Schools in Acadia, St. Martin, St. Mary, Vermilion and Lafayette Parishes will be closed today. Students in Evangeline, Iberia, Jeff Davis and St. Landry Parishes, will report to class.

Anyone registered to vote may do so through 6:00pm today at their nearest "Registrar of Voters" office.
Voting hours are 8:30am to 6pm
