    While Lafayette is beginning to climb out of the "Oil Pits" by the mid 80's, oil companies are moving out of the Oil Center and the medical industry starts moving in. USL is an unrealized asset and downtown is becoming an international festivity; this was Lafayette in the late 1980's.

    Multiple media outlets across the country reported Wednesday Night, that former Ragin' Cajun and Minnesota Viking Orlando Thomas had died.
