NEW ORLEANS (AP) Investigators are trying to find the cause of a 29-car derailment of a freight train in New Orleans. No injuries were reported from Monday's accident. A fire department spokesman says tank cars involved in the wreck apparently were empty. The rest of the derailment involved hopper cars. more » -

OPELOUSAS, La. (AP) Part of Louisiana Highway 749 known in Opelousas as Railroad Ave. is closed while crews work to right a derailed freight train.
