    At approximately midnight, an off-duty officer, Deputy Marshal Brandon Hargrave, disarmed and subdued a knife-wielding suspect, at gunpoint. The suspect threatened the life of a downtown bar manager. The suspect has been booked by Lafayette Police into the Lafayette Parish Correctional Center.
