In Iberia Parish, a well known seafood and steakhouse went up in flames Sunday morning.
It's still unknown what caused the fire at Landry's Seafood in Jeanerette. The fire started around one o'clock and several fire departments were on scene until 6:30 Sunday morning extinguishing the flames.

Just after one o'clock Sunday morning, a major fire riped through Landry's Seafood and Steakhouse in Jeanerette.
The restaurant suffered major damage in the kitchen area, and severe water and smoke damage throughout the rest of the building. Nobody was inside at the time of the fire. KATC'S Chris... more »

Crazy Bout Crawfish Restaurant in Breaux Bridge was buglarized around 4 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4.
Over 100 pounds of frozen crawfish, 30 pounds of alligator and 50 pounds of shrimp were stolen.
Bottles of Crown Royal and beer were also missing.

Three restaurants were profiled on KATC in our Restaurant Report: Serrano's, Golden Wok and Magic Wok. Two of them, Serrano's and Golden Wok had several critical violations.
