Residents are still stranded in Carencro, four days after flash flooding. The high water is not only cutting them off, but now contaminating the drinking water for about 30 homes on Smith Reed Road. Iota Man Killed in Motorcycle Crash

Lafayette Fire Officials spent most of the morning putting out a major house fire near Carencro. The incident occured in the 100 block of Smith Reed Road.
