Man Arrested After Allegedly Helping Prisoners Escape

The Jeanerette Marshal's office arrested Herman Lockette who was wanted by the Vidalia Sheriff's Office. Authorities were in search of Lockette since he allegedly assisted two inmates escape from the Concordia Parish work release program. They were then brought to Lafayette. New Surveillance System for Iberia Parish Jail
