LIVINGSTON, La. (AP) - A prisoner who escaped from a transport van on Interstate 55 near Hammond has surrendered. The Times-Picayune (http://bit.ly/nc3ONT) reported that 33-year-old Sedrick Smith, of Greensburg, agreed to meet federal marshals early Sunday in Livingston Parish.
