Pedestrian accident near Youngsville Hwy.; one transported to hospital

We have reports of a pedestrian accident near the 2300 block of Youngsville Highway, near Fortune Road. One patient being is transported to Our Lady of Lourdes hospital. The Lafayette Police Department is investigating a pedestrian accident on 11th Street near Hazel Dr. The accident took place shortly after 10:00 Friday evening, and officials say that at least one person was transported to a local hospital.
