A New Iberia man is arrested for simple arson.
An Iberia Parish Deputy arrested Traven Phillips, 19, for starting a small fire in front of a local business. He was arrested November 7, at approximately 09:26 p.m.

Heads up for drivers in New Iberia. East Dale Street is undergoing concrete repairs. The work will affect the east bound lane from Center to Bank Avenue. Drivers are asked to be cautious, or avoid the area. The work should be complete by January.
