Crowley Kindergarten was briefly on lockdown today as a precaution by Crowley Police. They initially got a call about an armed robbery in the area, but it turned out to be a purse snatching. Police say there was no threat to the school. The suspect has not been caught. more » -

The lockdown at J.I. Watson Elementary/Middle and modified lockdown at Iowa high was lifted at approximately 12:15 pm. The lockdown of the school was voluntary. It all started with a domestic dispute between a male and a female. The male fled on foot, and Iowa Police are searching for him.
