Elderly Woman Found Dead in Lake Martin

An 83-year-old Breaux Bridge woman is found dead in Lake Martin. Jessie Essex's body was discovered around one Wednesday morning by St. Martin Sheriff Deputies. Messex's cause of death is not being released. Deputies are waiting on autopsy results. She was staying with her daughter about ten miles away... more »
