A Jeanerette mother was arrested for allegedly shaking her baby. Roxanne Rivers is charged with second-degree cruelty to a juvenile. St. Mary Parish sheriff's deputies say the infant was hospitalized in January 2011. Deputies added Rivers admitted to shaking her child. She has since been released on $10,000 bond.

In Iberia Parish, a well known seafood and steakhouse went up in flames Sunday morning.
