Double devastation for a Church Point group that serves the community. The Christmas Eve tornado caused a tree to topple over onto The Food Pantry destroying it. Heavy winds blew a tree onto the Community Investors food pantry on Harmon Street in Church Point. 360 families in the Church Point, Mire and Branch areas are served by the Center. Only 20 bags of food remain and those will be distributed to needy families for the holiday.... more »
