Kids Get Fingerprinted for Free

Opelousas Police Work To Improve Fingerprinting Protocol

The Opelousas Police Department is holding fingerprinting classes for its officers. They're taking place at the Opelousas firing range. The goal is to train patrolmen in basic methods of fingerprinting. They're noticing more burglaries are being solved because of the increase in training. more »

Dozens of local children were the first to try a new biometric fingerprinting and DNA identification kit. They got printed at Sterling Hyundai of Lafayette.
