Lafayette City-Parish is considering doing away with the consolidated form of government. It's a partnership that's lasted 14 years. Right now, some city residents complain they're paying for work in the parish, while those rural areas have a weak tax base. Others say LCG doesn't do enough for rural areas.... more »
