7 parishes get drought disaster declaration

BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - Seven parishes in Louisiana have been declared disaster areas due to drought by the U.S. Agriculture Department. The parishes are Beauregard, Caddo, DeSoto, Sabine, Vernon, Calcasieu and Cameron.
