Morgan City man arrested for in-home counterfeit device

The Morgan City Police Department was investigating a complaint of an individual passing counterfeit currency in the Morgan City area. The bills were in $20.00 and $100.00 denominations. The Criminal Investigations Division received information from a business in the City of Scott that a large amount of counterfeit money was received. Investigators collected the counterfeit bills in the amount of Four Hundred Sixty Dollars ($460.00) and began an investigation in an attempt to locate a possible suspect.... more »
