Seven Million Dollar Building Coming to LSU Eunice

It took 20 years of waiting but today, LSU Eunice finally broke ground on a new building to house the school's continuing education offices, classrooms and auditoriums. Louisiana is now among the top 10 percent of classrooms using interactive technology in the U.S. After Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, technology company "Promethean" gave half a million dollars worth of equipment to schools in need, starting a classroom technology boom. Lafayette Unveils Technical High School

Lafayette's newest high school-- Thibodaux Career and Technical High School-- opened Tuesday. It is temporarily housed at Acadiana Technical College.
